Kathleen Weber has spent most of her life in Northeastern Iowa, where she met and married Richard (Dick) Weber, soon after graduating from St. Catherine's College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Together they raised two sons. During this time, Kathleen earned certification as a nurse practitioner in Women's health (among the first in the state of Iowa), followed by a master's degree in nursing.
